Blowing Bubbles Through a Two-Hand Triangle
Step-by-Step Instructions
Thoroughly soak the rope and your hands in the solution.
Hold the rope so it forms a triangle. There must be a stable soap film inside the triangle.
You can create the trail in three different ways:
Option 1 – Spinning (Two Hands)
Keep the rope in a triangle shape with both hands.
Begin turning your body smoothly. As you rotate, the film fills with air and creates a long floating bubble trail.
Option 2 – Sweeping Motion (Two Hands, No Spin)
Hold the triangle perpendicular to the floor — one hand closer to you, the other extended slightly outward.
Move the triangle from left to right, gently scooping air into the film.
This produces a long horizontal bubble trail.
Option 3 – One-Handed Narrow Trail (Advanced Variation)
Hold the rope on the fingers of one hand only.
Spread your fingers well apart so the rope forms a narrow triangle between the fingers. The second hand does not participate.
Move your body smoothly around yourself while keeping the film stable.
Because the fingers are spread, the rope still forms a triangular opening — but it is narrower than when using two hands.
Tips
During practice, keep your hands above the bowl so excess solution drips back into it.
Always blow upward, not forward or down — bubbles float longer and look more magical.
Keep your hands evenly wet; if they start to dry, dip lightly again.
Blow gently — too strong an airflow will break the film.
