Pinching Small Bubbles off a Big Bubble
- Moisten both hands well with bubble solution.
- Inflate a large bubble on the palm of one hand.
- With your other wet hand, gently touch the top of the big bubble.
- Make quick, sharp pinching movements, as if you are “pulling” small bubbles off the surface of the big one.
- The smaller the contact area, the smaller the bubbles; the larger the contact area, the bigger the bubbles.
- You can also inflate the bubble with one hand positioned above the other.
- After the bubble is formed, gently stroke the surface with the top hand, remove it, and then start pinching off small bubbles.
- Keep your fingers slightly spread.
- Use minimal wrist movement; all actions should come from the fingers.
- This effect looks especially beautiful with a smoke-filled bubble.
- You can finish the trick with a “clap” motion for a strong visual ending.
