Pulling Bubbles out of a Rope
Step-by-Step Instructions
Thoroughly wet both hands and the rope.
Spread the fingers of one hand as wide as possible and place the rope over them so a narrow triangle forms. A film should be visible inside the rope.
Bring the second hand toward the film with slightly spread fingers.
Gently place your palm against the film.
With a smooth pulling motion, draw the bubble out of the rope.
As you pull the bubble forward, slightly close your fingers — this helps separate the bubble cleanly from the film.
Hold the bubble on your palm and gently blow it upward.
Repeat the motion several times until the film inside the rope naturally breaks.
Tips
Keep the first hand steady — it acts as the frame holding the film.
Touch the film softly with an open palm before pulling.
Slightly closing the fingers during the pull helps “cut” the bubble cleanly from the film.
Move smoothly — sudden motions will break the film.
