1. Choose a tube of your preferred diameter.
2. The larger the diameter of the tube, the larger the bubbles will be.
3. Dip the tube into the solution. Make sure there is minimal foam on the surface of the tube, but a clean soap film must form at the opening.
4. Hold the tube comfortably in your hand.
5. Begin moving the tube in the air, drawing a horizontal figure eight (∞) shape.
The movement should be smooth and continuous.
- With a large-diameter tube — move slowly and fluidly.
- With a medium tube — increase the speed slightly.
- With a small-diameter tube — move faster to keep the bubbles forming consistently.
6. You can also raise the tube above your head and draw imaginary patterns in the air using only your wrist. The arm stays mostly still — the wrist does the work.
7. The horizontal figure-eight motion creates a continuous stream of bubbles that appear endless.
